Who I am

“Photography for me is not looking, it’s feeling. If you can’t feel what you’re looking at, then you’re never going to get others to feel anything when they look at your pictures.” – Don McCullin

Angie was born in Bohol, Philippines where she grew up in a place surrounded with mountains and lush foliage. Her first encounter with photography is when her aunt would bring a Polaroid camera and they each get one picture with the proper pose and unsmiling face.

For the past 6 years she has been living in Thailand, and traveling to other Asian countries. She started taking photographs of places and people she saw and encountered on travels. For her, these images create a picturesque storybook full of fun and wonderful moments.  She strives to tell a story through her interpretation of what she sees and the way she sees them.

As her passion for photography grows, she is learning more about herself as well. It may take time to discover what she really wants because of constant change. However, all she knows is that creating images that make her happy will always stay with her wherever she goes.
